With the current indie rock wave of the new new new wave, pop rock is back in all its opium sugar sweet hooks and choruses. The Attorneys were born like Athena full grown out of the NYC music scene last year with a throwback sound that is different than their contemporaries. Vocalist, William Ryan George's vocal inflection is so reminiscent of the Cars, Dexy's Midnight Runners, and Queen that every song sounds like a pop side of yesteryear. It is a welcome and listen-able departure from the NYC scenes poor kid garage rock posturing. – Shawn Kyle
