Put aside the fact that this represents Pitchfork TV's version of "Video Killed The Radio Star," I love this clip for its simplicity and John Hughes take on Pygmallion. The only thing missing is a Jon Cryer Ducky character. Maybe, for a bit of symmetry, a pet cemetary caretaker who watches and pining for the graveyard girl from afar? "Graveyard Girl" -- M83

I am not a fan of top 10 lists. Mainly because its physically impossible to listen to EVERY FUCKING ALBUM release in any given year. That is unless you happen to be Robert Christgau.
