If you haven't picked up The Black Angels' newest release, Directions To See A Ghost, you need to drop what you're doing and get to the nearest independent record store to purchase it.  (I recommend this fine establishment or this one for your Black Angels needs.) 

The Austin, TX group is a perfect example of the current neo-psychedelic movement that relies on old fashioned guitar reverb and organs, a la Velvet Underground, the Thirteenth Floor Elevators, and Jefferson Airplane.  Coupled with the newer shoegaze brand of psychedelia, via opening act The Warlocks, this tour will be a mind-expanding one.  I hope to see you at The Social in July.
