Radiohead Fan Flips Over Chance For Free Tickets
In honor of Tampa's Orient Road jail's appreciation of the handicapped, the local radio station wacky morning show on 97X attempted a reenactment with one of their paraplegic listeners. His prize for the humiliation of being thrown from his wheelchair by Morning X producer Danielle in a corrections office outfit? Free Radiohead tickets, of course!
Before we here at The Truly Independent get assailed by the P.C. Police for insensitivity, I have to note that we have all seen dedicated parents (translation: morons) camp out for days in front of a Hanna Montana statue for tickets without showering or working (behavior which barely deviated from the norm of said "parents"), so a wheelchair bound dude falling into a pile of bubble wrap falls pretty low on the humanity debasement scale. Especially, if its all in the name of making fun of bullying jail guards.
I would like to think Thom Yorke would be proud. You know, giving the handicap a chance to compete on equal footing with the rest of us? Wasn't that the theme of Ok Computer?

Gives me great ideas for when I finally get my waste tickets in the mail.
