Paul Weller, the man who most certainly must be sick of being called the "modfather" by now, has announced U.S. tour dates (sorry, no Florida appearance) in support of his new album 22 Dreams. The upcoming record includes guest appearances by former Blur guitarist Graham Coxon, Noel Gallagher and Gem of Oasis, among others. Gallagher co-wrote the new track "Echoes Around The Sun" with Weller. The former member of The Jam and Style Council turned 50 this year and decided it was time to make a special record, which he claims is "designed to be listened to in one sitting, in the same way that Pet Sounds or Sgt Pepper were."

22 Dreams was released in the UK on June 2nd and debuted at #1 on the UK album charts. It will be released in the US on July 22 on Yep Roc Records.
