Releasing limitedly May 23, the film Heavy Metal In Baghdad (executive producer Spike Jonze) follows the story of Acrassicauda, one, if not the only known metal band in Iraq, through the trials and tribulations of war, refugeeism, and the social backlash of their music in mid-eastern fundamentalist culture. 

 The film is a feature-length documentary by Eddie Moretti (co-founder of vbs.tv along with director Spike Jonze) that starts with the fall of Saddam Hussein, and reflects the ultimate hope of the Iraqi people, and the descent into bloody insurgent battles that they face on a day to day basis. Filmakers hope to display both the spirit of Iraqi youth, and on a greater level, the power of music and the human spirit.
