As you may have read here at Reax, Gainesville band Morningbell won a contest to perform at Bonnaroo. The College Battlle for the Roo was sponsored by ourstage.com. Any band with at least one member that is fully enrolled full time in a college or university (the old tambourine player trick, perhaps?) was eligible to submit their music. The fans voted and Morningbell was on their way to Manchester, TN to perform on the Sonic Stage at noon on Sunday at Bonnaroo. You might be saying to yourself, well, who the hell would be up at noon if Kanye West's set didn't even end until 5:30 am or so on Sunday morning? Well, it starts to get real hot inside a tent after 9am, so, you're better off heading into Centeroo to catch some shade, a cold beverage, and perhaps the first live performance of the day. Those who did just that were in for a treat. This band has got the goods. Morningbell embarked on a tour of the east coast immediately after their Bonnaroo performance.
