The Bay Area Arts and Music Organization, those committed, supportive-ass guys and dolls who do - among many other things - that awesome party/unofficial showcase for Florida talent at South by Southwest in Austin each year, have officially asked for submissions for their fourth compilation CD.

(And I am officially asking them to change the header photo on their website - what, like Kyle needs any more ongoing ego reinforcement?)

The last disc, Cheatin' Heart: Tales of Lies and Love, dealt with the subject of, erm, cheatin' hearts and lies and love and stuff, and garnered airplay for various Tampa Bay artists on more than 50 radio stations around the globe. (It has also received more than 200 local spins so far this year courtesy of WMNF.)

This time around, the subject is lust. Now, I know there aren't a whole lot of songs out there that deal with libido and erotic yearning and really, really wanting to do it, but maybe, if all of the local bands out there took a long, hard look at their catalog, they could come up with one or two tunes that fit the bill. Maybe. Sexual urges and music? Whoulda thunk they might go together?
