A "secret" show with no cover at the door, a band debuting their new album, and a crowd of fans surrounding the entire building made for a special night at the State Theater.  The name of that band was Underoath, and they’ve just released “Define the Great Line,” their finest and most powerful album.  The music is a hardcore, screamo-style sound comprised of six members who all hail from Tampa Bay.  Underoath’s stage presence remained energetic throughout the entire set, and their performance was enhanced by the dizzying light show emanating from the stage.

Underoath’s encore was short (and so was their set), but when the show was over, Reax was able to share a few words with them.  Underoath will be playing the rest of this year’s Warped Tour, after which they will embark on a Canadian tour as well as a “world tour” with Taking Back Sunday and Anti Flag.  When asked what they would like our readers to know most about their band, Aaron, the drummer, simply stated, “I’m hot, I love them all, God bless you, thanks for buying our record, and if you see a postman, say hi.”  Underoath truly has a lot going on in the near future, and they are well worth seeing live (especially if it's free—thank you, Myspace).
