The 420 Jump Off New World Brewery

from volume 01 issue 01 // Chris Kelly

Story: Chris Kelly

High Grade Gwaning was in full effect for the 420 Jump Off at New World Brewery. The evening was full of good times and great drinks, while DJs Ran Mecca, SlopFunkDust, and Blenda kept your neck moving throughout the night with innovative beats. Jay Giroux provided fresh silk-screened garments for everyone to buy, and Noah Deledda applied paint to canvas while people watched in awe. Cohorts, a band out of St. Pete, went on stage around midnight to blast some funky horns. When DJ Effex went on, he was blowing minds with his insane beat-boxing skills. "That shit is tight," Angus Shafer said. Breakdown & DJ Effex even found time to do a duet. Tribal Style rushed the stage later on in the night to provide some jams for everyone to shake their tail feathers to. The night was well put together and proved to be a success for all the people who made it happen. Make sure you get out and see the next High Grade Gwaning at a venue near you!
