August Burns Red opened their set w/ the first song off their freshmen album, Thrill Seeker. The crowd would probably agree that this seemed to be the real beginning of the show. No disrespect: the opening bands certainly held their own, but there was a definite increase in the energy level once they came along. They proved that they only have room for improvement as they showed off some newer songs along w/ some old favorites. The new album, The Messengers, was released just last month & they already have fans singing along. Their time on stage shouldn't have disappointed any true
A.B.R. fans.
As the seniors of the tour took the stage, Evergreen Terrace had to prove that they could hold their own against the young breed. Opening w/ a cover of U2's "Sunday, Bloody Sunday" they were off to an impressive start. A constant high level of energy couldn't be ignored; the crowd definitely gave back what they received from Evergreen Terrace. Throughout the set they performed songs spanning their career as a band, including a few off their brand new album, Wolfbiker. All in all, the show was immensely entertaining.

Evergreen Terrace's new album is called "Wolfbiker", not "Prey for Eyes." Although I like seeing my boyfriends face when I open a magazine, it'd be sweet to promote the right album!
