REAX: Now that you've recently released your sophomore full-length effort, what is life like for Eisley?
Sherri DuPree: Tiring! After you release a new album life slams you into this whirlwind of tours, interviews and unending projects. It's tiring but it's fun; another day at the office, you know? It’s just more enjoyable.
REAX: You recently appeared on Conan O'Brien. What was that like?
SD: It was a super cool experience. Conan's such a hilarious human; it was an honor being on his show. I wasn't nervous 'til the last minute when I thought of my husband and all my family watching that night and not wanting to disappoint them...then I lost it! My voice started shaking.
REAX: How do you guys kill the boredom on tour? What distractions are you most fond of?
SD: Us girls love to read, and I draw a lot. I brought the Heroes series on this tour and I'm going to re-watch it even though I just finished it. It's so good! To be honest, the guys hate to read, and rarely watch movies... I don't know what the heck they do. I always hear them talking about the stupidest things. They make us laugh like crazy.
REAX: Do you guys have a specific tradition you perform before each show, or is there a certain thing you like to do in each town you visit?
SD: We don't have any cutesy things we do before shows, except try to warm up our vocals... but we're really half-assed about it. We do try to find a Starbucks in every town though...THAT is mandatory!
REAX: You guys were recently in Florida on an acoustic tour. What can fans look forward to when you come back with Mute Math in November?
SD: Haircuts!! OMG! Just kidding. Um... rock and roll and an electric show. Duh.
REAX: What are you looking forward to on this tour? How is it different from previous tours?
SD: We've been trying to get together a tour with Mute Math since we all met a few years ago, but everyone's been so busy. So I'm looking forward to seeing them rock it every night. They're SO good live. I envy guys in bands because they can rock out without looking like a lousy spaz.
REAX: What was it like to play the Carling Festival?
SD: Surprisingly dry and warm! We were all told to bring rain boots for the mud or we would drown in it and die. But it was great weather and a lot of fun. We got to hang out with our friends in Paramore and Mute Math. I also got to see The Arcade Fire with my husband (whose band, New Found Glory, also played the festivals). We are huge fans; it was the most incredible show. I was getting choked up. They're SO inspiring! Great music makes me so emotional when I see it live.
REAX: What albums/artists have you guys been listening to a lot lately?
SD: The Arcade Fire's Neon Bible, Jeremy Enigk's World Waits, The Shins' Wincing the Night Away, Midlake's The Trials of Van Ocupanther, and Fiest's The Reminder.
REAX: What's your favorite thing about Fall?
SD: Starbucks' Iced Pumpkin Spice Chai Tea Latte! And pumpkins, period… there's just something about them, they're so whimsical. Cinderella rode in one of those, yo.
REAX: What's at the top of your "must accomplish" list before 2007 comes to an end?
SD: Get a website up so I can sell my art to our fans, so they stop bugging me about it!

I just want to compliment Eisley on there music. The harmonies are excellent. The lyrics are original. 'take the breath out of my throat' most would have used lungs I believe. Very impressive.
